He has also shared the stage with Kim Wilson, Linton Garner, Sonny Rhodes, Jeff Healey, Matt Minglewood, Dutch Mason, Suzie Vinnick, Jordan Cook, Donny Walsh, Big Dave McLean, Eddie Shaw, Sneezy Waters, Tom Lavin and many, many more. He won the award for top Blues drummer in the West Coast Blues revue magazine 8 consecutive times.

Dave "Double D" Dykhuizen - an electrifying blues guitarist and a powerful soulful vocalist. A performing musician since the late eighties, he started out with Canadian rock heroes The Smugglers. In the early nineties Dave's fascination with the blues led to the formation of The Kingtones with west-coast harmonica whiz Victor Polyik. A partnership with Powder Blues Band's hit-maker Jack Lavin followed, lasting until 2000. Their group Thumbs Up backed up a myriad of local and international artists and spawned Jack's record label of the same name. In 1999 the Thumbs Up imprint released L.A. harpmaster Mitch Kashmar's (The Pontiax) album "Crazy Mixed Up World". During the time that Roomful of Blues singer Mark Dufresne performed with Thumbs Up, Dave was dubbed "Double D", a moniker that would stick and save everyone the effort of pronouncing his last name. Double D has also gigged over the years with Nigel Mack, Jody Williams, Big Joe Houston, Amos Garret (Paul Butterfield), Sonny Rhodes, Mark Hummel (San Francisco harp king), Tony Coleman & Russell Jackson (BB King), Sugar Blue, Carlos Johnson (Sons of the Blues), Big Dave McLean, Jim Byrnes, Shaun Verrault (Wide Mouth Mason), Willie MacCalder (Powder Blues), Harpdog Brown, Wailin' Al Walker, Tim Hearsey, Kenny Blues Boss Wayne, The Twisters and many more.

It’s hard not to be inspired by Keith Picot’s creative drive. Over the past few years he’s been laying down the big bottom end for such swinging Vancouver acts as Cousin Harley and The Twisters while also slapping the gut strings for northern Canadian solo artists Ryan McNally and Declan O’Donovan. Keith "Poppy" Picot has won the Maple Blues award as Canada's top Blues Bass Player, Maple Blue award for Best Acoustic Blues Act - in his duo with Brandon Isaac, & also numerous awards with bands including the Twisters & Cousin Harley.

Dave Webb's sensitive musicianship and understanding of the Roots & Blues is a vital link in the band sound. Dave is a in demand player around Vancouver. He has worked with Nigel Mack, Tim Hearsey, Powder Blues, Jack Lavin, Harp Dog Brown, Russell Jackson, & Steve Kozak among others. He is also featured on the new CD's by Steve Kozak & Jason Buie.
